Maintenance
Finish
- The Obut MATCH + strie 0 pétanque boule has a black coating when it is supplied to the consumer.
- As requested by good players, the ‘black’ fades very quickly after the first few games.
- If this boule is not used for a while, a fine oxidation of the surface will appear, which will please players looking for a grippy feel in the hand.
Maintenance
- The MATCH + strie 0, made of carbon steel, needs cleaning after every game of pétanque and at least once a month if it is not used.
- We recommend the Obut maintenance product.
A little Obut advice
Do not leave your boules sets in the boot of your car, as they are exposed to sudden changes in temperature, which can lead to condensation.
Do not store your boules sets in bags with a foam compartment. The permanent humidity of the foam increases the oxidation of the boules.
These high humidity conditions will, in the long run, be detrimental to your boules by encouraging their oxidation.
Remember to take your balls out of the boot of your car or a bag with a foam compartment to store them in a dry place.
